We are one week into November already! This month is going to buzz right on by us if we're not careful. I figured I'd take the time to remind myself of my goal's for the month and see where I am. So far it's looking much better then last month!!
1. To bust into the 150's
CHECK!! I stepped on the scale on Wednesday and I'm at 159. Now to stay there and keep right on heading in the right direction.
2. Complete the Piles on Miles Challenge
I am right on track with this one. In fact, I'm even ahead of the game!
Week 1 goal: 6.1; actual 6.9
Week 2 goal: 22 miles; actual 22.4
I'm 1.3 miles ahead of my goal!! Woo-hoo!!!
3. To lift 3 times a week
Nope. Haven't done it. Not once. Sigh. Gonna have to work on making this one a priority. It's not going to happen this week. I've got my 11k on Sunday and a 10k next Sunday. Probably not wise to throw a new routine into the middle of it. I'll start the week of Thanksgiving. At least I'll have accomplished my goal for half the month that way!
4. To log every BLT (Bite. Lick. Taste.)
I'm doing good with this one too! In fact for a few days I was even under goal!!
5. To complete my first 10k and 11k.
Sunday is my 11k. I woke up this morning feeling sore. My toenail is still sore. The sole of my big toe area is sore. My ankles were even sore. Instead of running my scheduled 2 miles followed by 2 mile walk I decided to play it safe and just walk for 4 miles. Tomorrow is my scheduled rest day. I'm super excited for Sunday!! I can not wait to run for such a great cause. It's a true honor to be able to run for all of those who have served before me.
