Tonight is Day 22 of P90X - Yoga X. It's cardio week. I just did Yoga on Saturday and really don't want to do it again tonight, but since there will be 2 other girls there waiting on me I better go! I love working out with a group - it really helps keep me on track.
I ran/walked the golf course yesterday (3.6 miles) - great way to bring in the New Year, right?! I completed it in 45 minutes. As I was running/walking I thought how in the world am I going to be able to do a triathlon when I can't even run 3.6 miles without taking a break? When I finished and saw that I did it all in 45 minutes, I got a glimmer of hope. Sure I can! I've got 5 months to train for it. I need to make every day count and stay focused on my ultimate goal. On the 9th I am going to the Maryland Triathlon club's first meeting of the year. I'm hoping to meet someone who will become my 'mentor' and help me train for my first ever triathlon.
